Dr. Brandi Addison

Brandi Addison, DO is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. She specializes in the treatment of diabetes (Type 1, Type 2 and gestational), osteoporosis, thyroid disease, adrenal disease, pituitary disease, calcium abnormalities, obesity and metabolic syndrome. She has special interest in thyroid disease including fine needle aspiration of thyroid nodules, and ultrasonography of the thyroid and parathyroid hormones. In addition, she is experienced with insulin pump management and continuous glucose monitors. Dr. Addison also enjoys treating obstetric patients with endocrine disorders.

Dr. Addison received her bachelors of science degree from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and her osteopathic medical degree from A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Corpus Christi Medical Center in Corpus Christi, Texas. In 2016, she completed her endocrinology fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston where she served as chief fellow. 

Dr. Addison believes that medicine is a team effort between physician and patient. She believes, that in order for a relationship to be successful that there must be open communication, good listening skills from both parties and the willingness to adjust. By doing so, both individuals get the most of the relationship.
